Potentials of Critical Studies on Men and Profeminist Work with Men

The workshops focuses on the link between masculinity and care and its implications for gender studies and gender-based practice approaches in working with men in the human services. The talks take a look at male violence, the usefulness of sexual education, counseling of young fathers, and the transformation of hegemonic masculinity in the business world. They ask for challenges, feminist claims, and opportunities for men seeking change towards gender equality and social justice.
