Since May 2021, Ann-Kristin Goldapp is an external doctoral candidate of Prof. Kreuder-Sonnen. Her dissertation investigates the transformation of the European Union in times of crisis. She initially studied Journalism & Public Relations at the Westfälische Hochschule Gelsenkirchen before coming to Jena University for her Master’s degree in Political Science. Here, she worked as a student assistant at the Chair of International Organizations and as tutor and lecturer for several courses. After internships at the German Consulate General in New York and at the European Parliament, she decided to pursue a doctorate in the field of International Organizations. For this, she received a scholarship by the state of Thuringia in January 2023. Ann-Kristin Goldapp’s research focuses on transnational crises, economic policy, and the institutions of the European Union.
