Dear prospective political science students, dear prospective social studies students,
we are happy to organize the Introductory Study Days (STET) together with you starting on October 5th. During the STET, you can expect a wealth of new information, from the structure of the timetable to tips on the most important places at the university and in Jena.
Together with the STET mentors and the institute, we want to support you as much as possible in your arrival in Jena and offer you information as well as the opportunity to get to know each other.
If you have problems understanding the Friedolin system or want to find your way around the city, you can find the right events for everything in the schedule.
If you don't want to miss anything or want to have more information, check out our Instagram account - here we give regular updates and keep you informed about everything during the STET!
If you can't attend the STET in person, we also offer an online consultation. For any further questions, you can also contact us for an individual online consultation.

Successful introductory days include not only nice encounters, selected music and a well-stocked bar, but also an awareness structure. Awareness means as much as paying attention and at events it represents the effort to offer those present a space in which active action is taken against discriminatory behavior and people find support when it is needed.
Here we introduce our awareness team for the STET. It is important to us that you feel safe at all times. Our awareness representatives will be clearly visible at all STET events and you can contact them at any time. You can find all contact details for our awareness officers in the contact box below.
You can find more information about our Anti-Discrimination Office and other contact points here.
