Project description
The aim of the project is the development of a mobile diagnostic system for assessing the sensorimotor regulatory capacity of athletes. For this purpose, a system is to be developed, which consists of several measuring modules and with which an athlete or trainer is able to carry out functional tests quickly and precisely. The measuring modules should be positioned on and / or outside the body of the athlete depending on the desired test. The handling of the system and the test instructions are presented via a mobile device and can optionally be given as a spoken instruction via headphones. After setting the measuring modules, the system calibrates itself. The athlete carries out the tests as instructed and the measuring modules record the position and position change of certain body parts, as well as further test-relevant parameters. The data is sent to the mobile device via radio and is analyzed quantitatively there. Depending on the test, different decision algorithms are used for classification and evaluation. A stored database enables the user to interpret the test results and provides characteristic values in the sense of a risk assessment for injuries.
