Rouwen Cañal Bruland as Visiting Professor at the University of British Columbia

Prof. Cañal Bruland visited the University of British Columbia as a Visiting Professor in the School of Kinesiology from June 5th to June 23rd. During his stay Rouwen Cañal Bruland gave several formal and informal talks including in the Oculomotor Lab in the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences (Prof. Miriam Spering)External link, in the Motor Skills Lab in der School of Kinesiology (Prof. Nicola Hodges)External link, at an interdisciplinary Collaborative Day at Green CollegeExternal link as well as in the Seminar Series of the School of KinesiologyExternal link. First and foremost, the research stay served to intensify the collaborations with Prof. Nicola HodgesExternal link and her research group (Thank you Nikki, for being such a great host!).
Prior to his visit to UBC Rouwen Cañal Bruland participated in the NASPSPA 2023 Conference in Toronto (from June 1st to June 4th). In addition, he paid a one day to visit to the Sensorimotor Neuroscience Lab led by Dan MarigoldExternal link in the Department of Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby.
