asp young researchers conference & asp PostDoc workshop

Prior to the 55th Annual Conference of the German Society for Sport Psychology in Stuttgart, Germany (18-20 May 2023), the young researchers conference (Nachwuchstagung – asp-tagung.deExternal link) and the PostDoc workshop (PostDoc Workshop – asp-tagung.deExternal link) of the asp took place from 16-18 May.

During the young researchers conference, Henrietta Weinberg and Norman Hüttner presented first results of their doctoral projects. During the discussion and beyond, they received diverse and helpful feedback from other doctoral candidates from all over Germany.

In addition to the scientific exchange in the working groups and supplementary keynote lectures, the informal exchange at the joint barbecue and a walk-and-talk tour through the university city of Stuttgart was not lacking.

Dr Florian Müller and Dr Oliver Seidel-Marzi took part in the 2nd asp PostDoc workshop on "Actively shaping leadership in science". During two intensive workshop days, a total of 18 PostDocs exchanged their own experiences as well as challenges related to this important topic. In addition, possibilities for better networking at postdoc level were discussed.
