As part of his ongoing research sabbatical, Prof. Cañal Bruland visited the School of Sport, Exercise & Health Sciences at Loughborough University, UK from April 23 to April 28. The School of Sport, Exercise & Health Sciences at Loughborough University is currently ranked No. 1 in the world in various university rankings (e.g., QS World University Ranking; https://www.lboro.ac.uk/schools/sport-exercise-health-sciences/External link). Next to discussing and planning future research collaborations with Dr. Robin Jackson (host; Reader in Sport Psychology), Prof. Cañal Bruland was also invited to present his work to the School on April 25. His talk was entitled: "Anticipation in sports: Integrating contextual and multisensory information".
