Dr. Florian Müller awarded with "Jürgen-Nitsch-Award" for theoretical development in the field of sport psychology

Dr. Florian Müller was awarded the "Jürgen-Nitsch-Award" of the DGPs Sport Psychology Section and outlined his award-winning research in a ceremonial talk​ during the asp conference in Muenster/Westfalen

During the 54th Annual Conference of the German Society for Sport Psychology (asp), June 16-18, 2022, in Muenster/Westfalen, Dr. Florian Müller was awarded the "Jürgen-Nitsch-Award" for outstanding theoretical development in in the field of sport psychology" by the section for sport psychology of the German Psychological Society (DGPs) for his work on "Motives as Predictors of Individual Differences in Motor Performance."

The prize is awarded every two years by the DGPs section for sport psychology and recognizes in particular contributions to theoretical development in the field of sport psychology. All young scientists who meet the DGPs young member criteria at the time of their application are eligible to apply.

In a ceremonial talk, Dr. Müller presented his award-winning research to a broad audience at the asp conference.
