54th Annual Conference of the asp in Muenster/Westfalen​

The department successfully contributed to the annual conference of the asp from June 16-18, 2022.

Appropriately titled "One brain, much movement - variability and plasticity across the lifespan", the 54th Annual Conference of the German Society for Sport Psychology (June 16-18, 2022) was held in attendance for the first time after two years of pandemic-related online meetings (see https://asp-tagung.de/en/External link)

The Department for the Psychology of Human Movement and Sport was successfully represented with three talks in different symposia as well as three posters at the poster session (speakers or presenters are printed in bold).

  • Talk: Action costs influence decisions during movement (Eric Grießbach, Philipp Raßbach, Oliver Herbort & Rouwen Cañal-Bruland)
  • Talk: The explanatory power of motives for individual differences in motor performance: recent findings from laboratory and field studies (Florian Müller & Rouwen Cañal-Bruland)
  • Talk: The influence of co-acting competitors on the shooting performance of elite biathletes (Amelie Heinrich, Hanna Köhler, Florian Müller, Oliver Stoll & Rouwen Cañal-Bruland)
  • Poster: Do motives moderate dyadic performance in a joint-action motor task? (Norman Hüttner, Florian Müller & Rouwen Cañal-Bruland)
  • Poster: The Interaction Between Acute Emotional States and Executive Functions in Youth Elite Soccer Players (Simon Knöbel, Henrietta Weinberg, Florian Heilmann, Rainer Wollny & Franziska Lautenbach)
  • Poster: Neurodiagnostics in Sports: Investigating the Brain’s Potential to Optimize Performance in Athletes (Oliver Seidel-Marzi & Patrick Ragert)
