Vacancy: PhD position on "motivation and motor performance & motor learning"

The Department for the Psychology of Human Movement and Sport within the Institute of Sport Sciences at the University of Jena seeks to fill the position of a
Doctoral Researcher (m/f/d); 0.5 FTE, for initially 3 years commencing on 15th March 2022.
Your responsibilities:
- Conduct interdisciplinary research within the field of motivation and motor performance & motor learning
- Plan and conduct experiments and analyse resulting data
- Publication of research articles in quality international, peer-review journals
- Presentation of research outcomes at national and international conferences
- Teaching courses in the field sport & performance psychology and/ or motor learning (2h/ week)
- Supervision of Bachelor and Master theses
- Support in administrative tasks
- Work on a scientific qualification project, i.e. PhD degree
Your profile
- An excellent Master's degree (or equivalent) in human movement science/ sport science, psychology or in a related field
- Strong interest in conducting experimental research on the topics mentioned above
- Very good methodological and statistical skills
- Programming experience is desirable
- Experience with different behavioral research methods
- Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
- Scientific enthusiasm and motivation to work within an interdisciplinary research team

The advertised position is (initially) limited to a maximum of 3 years with the possibility of extension. This is a part-time position with 50% of the working hours of a full-time employee (20h per week).
