2024 Annual NASPSPA Conference in New Orleans

From June 5 to June 8, 2024 fand the Annual Conference of the North American Society for the Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity (NASPSPA) took place in New Orleans, Louisiana (USA). Members of the Department for the Psychology of Human Movement and Sport contributed two talks and one poster.

  • Florian Müller presented a recent study titled: Dyadic motive fit: A meaningful predictor of joint performance in teams? (Müller, Hüttner & Cañal-Bruland).
  • Henrietta Weinberg presented first results of her PhD research in a poster session. The title of her poster was: Unraveling decision-making and evidence accumulation in single anticipation trials (Weinberg, Müller & Cañal-Bruland).
  • In an invited symposium on "The road to excellence - A multidisciplinary endeavor of understanding expertise" (the other speakers were: Prof. Markus Raab, Prof. Nichola Hodges, Prof. David Mann, Prof. Mark Wiliams) Rouwen Cañal-Bruland delivered a talk on: Expert anticipation research: Past, present and future (Cañal-Bruland).
